Our Story
Welcome to Coastal Breeze Frenchies! We’re the Roadcaps, and we’ve been raising French Bulldogs here in the Florida Panhandle for over 20 years. There’s something about Gulf Coast living that just gets in your bones—the slower pace, the salt air, the way people still wave from their porches. That laid-back, genuine vibe? That’s exactly how we run things here.
Our Frenchie journey started many years ago when we met our first Frenchie. If you’ve ever spent time with one, you know what happened next—we were completely hooked. Those bat ears, that personality, the way they think they’re lap dogs no matter their size… we didn’t stand a chance.
One turned into two, and before long, we weren’t just Frenchie owners—we were deep into genetics, health testing, temperament, and what it really takes to breed these dogs responsibly. We started Coastal Breeze with a simple goal: to raise French Bulldogs the right way. Not the fast way or the profitable way, but the right way.
How We Do Things
Small and intentional. We’re not trying to be the biggest breeder out there—we’re trying to be one of the best. Every puppy is born right here in our home. No kennels, no facilities. Our dogs live with us, sleep on our furniture (they think they own the place), and every pup gets handled and socialized from day one.
Health first, always. Our dams are health-tested, temperament-evaluated, and most importantly, loved family members. We don’t breed just because we can—we breed because we believe that pairing will produce healthy, happy puppies. French Bulldogs can have health challenges, and we take that seriously.
Raised with the Gulf Coast lifestyle. Our pups grow up with sunshine, beach breezes, and the kind of relaxed atmosphere that helps them become chill, adaptable dogs. Life here isn’t rushed, so we’ve got time to watch their personalities develop and make sure each one is ready before heading to their new home.
